New WB manager for Cambodia

Qimiao Fan on Monday was appointed World Bank's country manager for Cambodia by the World Bank vice president for East Asia and Pacific region, James Adam, the bank said in a statement. Fan, a Chinese national, has been working for the World Bank for more than 12 years and has more than 10 years experience in the private sector and at academic institutions, the bank said. Fan has recently left his position as lead economist and program leader for the Investment Climate Capacity Enhancement Program and the Public-Private Partnership in Infrastructure Program at the World Bank, the statement said.
