PHNOM PENH – Its bloody typical – you wait for ages for a bus (in England) and then three of the buggers turn up at the same time. In much the same fashion, gameweek 13 of the Post’s Fantasy league not only saw the century mark finally surpassed, but done so by no less than 15 managers. Our Primus Pilus (go and look it up) of the centurions was Kay Lot with his team Ta Redneck on 136 points. Obviously Jermaine Defoe’s five-goal haul made him top dog with 25 points, although Kay Lot opted to have Fulham’s Clinton Dempsey as captain to take 36 points thanks to the American’s midweek brace. Ta Redneck also featured the high scores of Hull’s Stephen Hunt (18 points), Blackburn’s David Dunn (12) and Stoke keeper Thomas Sorensen (14). Tragically, Kay Lot is a Cellcard employee and, thus, exempt from claiming the weekly prize of a US$20 phone voucher. The spoils instead head to Brenda Wade with her side AV Cambodia on 126 points. The next gameweek is confined to the weekend’s ties, with transfer deadline at 6:30pm Saturday.
