IDAHO FALLS -- Idaho Falls police confirm that the man suspected of killing his mother in Idaho Falls earlier this month has been returned to the United States.
Sgt. Phil Grimes says 33-year-old Nathan Helburn has been booked into a Los Angeles-area jail.
Helburn was arrested in Cambodia on March 18, nine days after his mother, Mary Helburn, was found dead in her home.
Idaho Falls police issued an arrest warrant for Helburn two days after his mother's body was found. Police believe he stole her car and fled.
Helburn faces an extradition hearing in California.
