CPP Supported Prime Minister Hun Sen in Being Prime Minister in the Next Mandate Election

Monday, 28 June 2010 13:15 DAP-NEWS

CAMBODIA, PHNOM PENH, JUNE 28, 2010-Samdech Chea Sim, President of the Cambodian People´s Party, announced in public in front of the CPP´s members that the CPP wanted to clearly specify that it would support Prime Minister Hun Sen in being the next mandate election´s prime minster.

At the meeting of the 59th anniversary of the CPP establishment day from June 28, 1951 to June 28, 2010 at the CPP Central headquarters, President Chea Sim stated that in the past 59 years the CPP kept its own nature (identity) as the Cambodian People´s Party, which was created by the Cambodian People and worked for the Cambodian people and, moreover, it led the national liberation movement to strongly fight against the French colony and also contributed comprehensively to the common victory of the struggle for gaining back the national independence in 1953.

“While we are doing all we can to achieve our common goal, there are a number of biased outsiders who always are seeking all means in order to get rid of the CPP,” he added.

So, the CPP tried both to respond to our national demand and to strengthen our own party and to fight against the outsiders´ attacks, but what is the most important thing now is that we dare to look at the facts and to accept the facts, and to enlarge our advantages in order to improve insufficient points and adhere to our constantly cautious position.
